It Won't Change You, Except...

Arriving in Montreal shaped Jeff Petry, and his family, in ways he never imagined.

Blood, Sweat and Cheers

Tomas Fleischamnn has never done anything the easy way.

Three's a Crowd?

Is less really more when it comes to NHL overtime formats? That depends on who you ask.

Tattoos and Tailgates with Chuck Hughes

It makes sense that if you’re going to ask a celebrity chef to prepare dishes to enjoy while watching a Canadiens game, you connect with a guy whose initials are “C.H.”. Watch Chuck Hughes on TV and it’s obvious the Montreal native knows his way around a kitchen; not only can he chop, sauté and braise with the best of them, but he can also hold his own on the ice. When he’s not busy running two of Montreal’s hottest eateries, Garde Manger andLe Bremner, there’s a good chance Hughes can be found at the Bell Centre taking in a Habs game. An expert in all things culinary and Canadiens, it was only natural to have the inked-up gourmand create some customized specials that any Habs fan with access to an oven could whip up and share, tailgate-style while watching the Habs run up the score.

On the Rise - Simon Bourque

Simon Bourque grew up like most young Quebecers, carefully following his hometown Montreal Canadiens. Fast forward to 2015, when Bourque had the chance to pull on the bleu-blanc-rouge for real.

Like a Boss

Having grown up at the Forum alongside some of the greatest players to ever don the bleu-blanc-rouge while enjoying a front row seat for some of the most exciting moments in Canadiens history, Geoff Molson understands what it’s like to be a die-hard Habs fan. Whether he’s in his office at the Bell Centre or in his usual seats behind the bench, the Canadiens owner and president lives and breathes hockey, 365 days a year. With a lifetime of stories at his disposal, we thought the big boss would be the perfect person to share some of his favorite memories about his childhood team. No question is too big or too small for the man at the top!

Got a question for Geoff? With luck, the man himself just might answer it. Send your question today to letters@canadiens.com and it could end up featured in an upcoming issue.

The Last Word: Howie Mandel

He’s spent the last three decades in front of the camera, but Howie Mandel first got his start on stage working his way up the ranks of the Toronto comedy circuit. A star on the small screen as a judge on America’s Got Talent, Mandel can also be spotted making the rounds in his role as a spokesperson for the Bell “Let’s Talk” campaign that focuses on ending the stigma associated with mental illness. We caught up with the 60-year-old comedian to chat about a number of his passions, including his love of Montreal and all things sports.
