Hockey has changed a lot since the 1950s. The arenas, equipment, and road trips are all examples, but the style of play on the ice has also evolved since the middle of the last century. After asking our players to recreate vintage poses à la Richard, Harvey, and Plante for their bio pages in the Yearbook, we wondered who among them would have fared the best on the ice during the decade that saw the Canadiens win five-straight Cups. We conducted an informal poll of the Habs dressing room to find out who the players think would have thrived in that dynasty era in Montreal and were pleasantly surprised by the thoroughness of their answers.
